'I'm a perfectionist!'

This is a constant phrase that is uttered at least once a day during our daily lives. The word perfection means ‘the state or quality of being perfect’. However, this word is depicted by what society sees as ‘perfect’. As an example, perfect could be having a slim waist, big breasts and wide hips (a.k.a the hourglass). That doesn’t mean that person is actually perfect, that just means that society approves of this figure.

Being Perfect is about accepting who you are, not what others want you to be and altering your body to their satisfaction. Perfectionism is a state that people try to practice everyday, except that nobody is actually perfect. Imperfectionism is what everyone should be practicing, because no matter how hard you try, you are never going to be perfect, just the way others want you to be. So instead you should focus on elevating your own happiness and working on yourself so that you can be imperfect to your standards. Because, believe it or not, it actually doesn't matter what everyone thinks about you. And of course i know and understand that you may feel that people really hate you, and that they are being nice to you to mock you, but there are some people out here that are genuinely nice and want to deliver the honest brutal truth to you (like me) so that people who are fake and who don't deserve you do not fill your mind up with worry about you non-existent double chin, the fact your thighs are too large, that you have a slight slouch to your walk, that your face is so puffed up, or that your hair is ‘always greasy’. In short, people who bring you down into the depths of despair. (cringey, but it works)

The world is brutal. There are people who, ultimately, along your journey will work hard to pull you down because they are jealous of you. It’s horrible, I know, but it's the truth. It's why this blog, Brutality, exists.

Delivering the honest truth, Brutally.
