'I'm a perfectionist!'
This is a constant phrase that is uttered at least once a day during our daily lives. The word perfection means ‘the state or quality of being perfect’. However, this word is depicted by what society sees as ‘perfect’. As an example, perfect could be having a slim waist, big breasts and wide hips (a.k.a the hourglass). That doesn’t mean that person is actually perfect, that just means that society approves of this figure. Being Perfect is about accepting who you are, not what others want you to be and altering your body to their satisfaction. Perfectionism is a state that people try to practice everyday, except that nobody is actually perfect. Imperfectionism is what everyone should be practicing, because no matter how hard you try, you are never going to be perfect, just the way others want you to be.
